Most of these mods come from the "Mods Anthology" set of CDs.
The rest of them I have composed myself.

The "Mods Anthology" CDs are a collection of mods collected by Gryzor,
and represent a good deal of what the "scene" was, back in the 80s/90s.
As these mods were collected, permission was asked to the authors,
and today it's possible to find them freely on many ftp sites.
At the time people wrote the mods, they were IMHO much less
concerned about copyrights than we would be today. The music was cool,
it was made by independent hackers/trackers/guys, and so it was.
There was nothing commercial about it, and nobody bothered anyway.
Now it's a little touchy to place them under the GPL (which is what I do
by including them in U61), since for some of them I have no real world
proof that the author accepts me to place his work under the GPL.
However, it seems obvious that today it's like they were public domain.
If you are the author of a mod in this list, and do not want it to be
included in U61, please let me know and I won't distribute the mod anymore.
It won't be a problem for me to distribute U61 anyway since U61 can
virtually play any mod file, so the mods could be replaced by other mods,
and besides the main u61 package does not include any mod I have not
composed myself, so only u61-data could be affected by some copyright issue.
Again I insist on the fact that when Gryzor collected the mods,
he asked the permission to the authors, which basically means the work
of the authors can be distributed.

All the mods I (Christian Mauduit) have composed are 100% GPL stuff.
